How Do Parties Work?
We are based in Amersham and parties are available around Bucks, Herts and further afield. If you would like to book a murder mystery party , the first thing to do is please contact us with your chosen date and theme, we will then send you a booking form and answer any queries. Once we receive your forms and deposit we provide information so you can designate characters amongst your friends, as well as a short crime scene reconstruction script to get you in the mood and set the scene.
On the night, one of our top detectives (a professional actor with teaching experience and CRB/DBS check) will come to your home (or venue) to lead the entertainment - everyone will be given a script, detective notebook and pen so try and solve the investigation. The scripts only contain your information so there won't be any spoilers! The scripts for 9-10 year old tea time capers are shorter with easier language so that everyone can enjoy the fun without worry.
We require two spaces if possible, a living room type space for the investigation and a dining room/kitchen area for eating.
All you have to do is plan a three course meal to prepare for your friends (we can suggest themed menus via our Pinterest boards - either click below or see the specific boards on each theme page) and let our detective lead the investigation.
Your detective will arrive 15 minutes before the entertainment start time and carry you all through the fun. All our entertainers are professional performers with experience in teaching children (often drama/dance/music) and are CRB/DBS checked.
Public events, work dos and big family parties held in pubs, restaurants, British Legions etc are available - here is a recent Trip Advisor Review from our event at The Bell at Chartridge:

Miranda here: I just wanted to put a note here about my party background. I have always worked in events - my first part-time job at the age of 14 was a children’s’ party assistant 'Skittles the Clown' for a lovely local company in Buckinghamshire. I continued working for the same company for the next five years until I was at the point of not only leading parties but also training new recruits on the job in magic, puppetry, face painting and leading games and dances.
This was a great start to my working life and gave me skills I have used alongside the whole of my time as a professional actress. Since leaving drama school I have worked for many companies running parties and this is my new venture - when you hire me you are not only getting a professional performer, you are getting years of experience. I would love to host a party for you so please get in touch.
